My name is Kaylie “KJ” Hubbard, and I’m a right-handed pitcher and first baseman from Grandview High School in Texas. As a Class of 2027 prospect, I’ve been working hard to develop my game and compete at a high level all over the United States.
Standing at 5’10”, I bring a strong presence to the field, both in the circle and at first base. I throw right-handed but bat left-handed, which gives me an added edge on offense. Playing varsity softball at Grandview has pushed me to compete against older, more experienced players, and I thrive on the challenge of helping my team hold its own against larger programs.
Softball has been a huge part of my life, but I also take pride in my academics. I maintain a 3.5 GPA while balancing a rigorous course load with my athletic commitments, and I’m an active member of the National Honor Society. Managing both academics and athletics has taught me discipline and time management—qualities that I know will help me at the next level.
I’ve also had the opportunity to play with the Texas Glory organization, where I continue to grow as a player under Coach Danny Norwood. Competing at this level has helped me refine my pitching, improve my overall game, and gain exposure to elite competition.
I’m an uncommitted prospect, and I’m excited about the opportunity to continue playing softball at the collegiate level. I’m looking forward to the next steps in my softball journey and the chance to contribute to a college program both on and off the field.
